The Foreman - Heavy Equipment position is a pivotal role within our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of heavy equipment, ensuring all machinery is maintained and operated according to safety standards to mitigate risks and enhance productivity.
• Coordinate with project managers and team members to schedule equipment usage, ensuring optimal allocation and minimizing downtime for seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular inspections of heavy machinery to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations, thus preventing accidents and ensuring operational efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior staff on equipment operation and safety procedures, fostering a culture of safety and continuous learning within the team.
• Prepare detailed reports on equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and any incidents, providing insights that support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
• Assist in the procurement of new equipment, evaluating options based on project requirements and budget constraints to ensure cost-effectiveness and operational capability.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to manage equipment-related budgets, ensuring that all expenditures align with financial goals and project requirements.
• Implement best practices in equipment operation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, contributing to the overall profitability of the projects.
